Life Sciences DS
Presentation :
The Life Sciences Doctoral School (DS SdV) supported by Université PSL was born of the ambition to create a doctoral school of excellence that would be competitive at national and international level, supported by teams developing cutting-edge research in biology at the frontier of knowledge and its applications in biotechnology and health. It has been set up in line with the Université PSL Life Sciences Graduate Program, in order to offer its students and future doctoral students high-level training through research as part of a Master's-Doctorate continuum, as well as greater coherence, clarity and international visibility for the Life Sciences training offered by Université PSL. The DS's scientific fields cover the life sciences. The DS's mission is to evaluate students from French and foreign universities wishing to undertake a thesis at Université PSL; to award doctoral contracts through a jury of excellence; to monitor the doctoral programme and doctoral training; to award the title of doctor and to manage conflicts.
